Manufacturing Engineer

Salary: £50K-£54K (D.O.E)

What You'll Do:

In this shop floor role, you'll manage product projects from quotation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness while overseeing suppliers and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage product launches and supplier coordination to meet cost and timing targets
• Develop and implement timing plans, PFMEAs, and control documents
• Source, commission, and oversee new manufacturing equipment installations
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and support quality resolutions
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and support Continuous Improvement (CI)

What We're Looking For:

• Degree qualified in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
• Experience working with OEMs and Tier 1 automotive suppliers
• Familiarity with headliner manufacturing and assembly
• Proven track record in roles within just-in-time environments
• Knowledge of Six Sigma / Lean manufacturing processes
• IT literacy, particularly with MS Project
• CAD experience is advantageous

• On-site role based on shop floor
• 40 hours per week: Mon-Thu 07:30-16:15, Fri 07:30-15:00
• You must be a British Citizen or have Indefinite Leave to Remain
