TIG Welder
Pay: £31,333 a year
Hours: 7am - 4pm Monday - Thursday & Friday 7am -12pm (39 hours a week)

Location: Solihull

GI pro are working with a compnay in Solihull, Client makes emergency evacuation chairs for mobility impaired people. Supply NHS, Shopping centres, Offices etc. We are looking for a TIG welder on a full time contract to join the team.

The Role: TIG Welder

• Welding stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium
• TIG welding
• Welding between up to 10mm
• General fabrication working from engineering drawings
• Using cuts drills etc

Ideal Person: TIG welder

• Experience with Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welding
• Aluminium and Stainless-steel Experience (Essential)
• Fabrication and fitting experience (desirable)
• BS 4872 welder competence (Desirable)
• Any relevant Welding Training (Desirable)
• Lean Training
• Abrasive Wheels Certification (for Tungsten Grinding)
