Maintenance Engineer

Ensuring all machinery, equipment and buildings run smoothly and reliably in a fast paced storage facility, you will be well-versed in all maintenance processes and health and safety regulations. This position requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot, maintain, and repair various mechanical and electrical systems.

• Conduct scheduled and preventative maintenance checks and record
• Carry out necessary repairs and servicing of reach trucks and pallet trucks
• Electrical / Mechanical fault diagnosis
• Liaise with outside contractors.
• Ensuring that facilities are well maintained and meet health and safety standards.
• Work closely with the management team and provide reports on the repairs.
• Complete all necessary records in relation to duties carried out.
• Manage maintenance spares and control costs.
• Respond to emergency calls for maintenance
• Reporting and budgeting.

Essential Criteria

• Multiskilled Maintenance
• Three years previous experience in a role where you have demonstrated a desire and ability to know the detailed workings of your environment.
• Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
• Being flexible with working hours to meet the needs of the business.

Package £45000 (Salary is negotiable based on experience), Annual bonus, medical insurance, life insurance and company pension scheme.
