Lead Software Engineer - Team Leadership
Salary £65-75k + benefits + Hybrid working options

A Lead Software Engineer / Software Team Lead to join an established company developing Data Analytics / SaaS products used by customers across the UK. They promote training and progression from within and offer a flexible Hybrid working structure.

The Lead Software Engineer will report to the Head of Engineering and lead an Agile development team in the development of the company's SaaS products and new features. The role will remain hands-on but holds team and tech leadership responsibilities for the product team (Developers and QA).

Offices in central Belfast with options to WFH 3-4 days per week.

Essential requirements:

  • Prior experience of leading projects and teams (Developers, QA, Product staff, etc)
  • Experience of tech delivery and translating user/client requirements
  • A background in C# and SQL software development (5 years+ experience)
  • Commercial experience with .NetCore or MVC and Azure
  • The ability to implement Agile and DevOps processes
  • Passion for writing good code, following coding best practice, SOLID principles or similar
  • An excellent communicator, able to communicate with senior leadership

Desirable:

  • Experience of digital transformation or a scaling environment
  • Blazor
  • Test automation with Selenium C#
