Mechanical Supervisor

Rate: £30.00ph (Personal CIS)

Location: Across Manchester and Yorkshire

Hours: 40 hours a week (+ weekends available)

Nelson Permanent Placements are currently working on behalf of our client who are an industry-leading Engineering Contractor. They work heavily with a portfolio of market-leading Food & Bev Manufacturing and Pharmaceutical companies.

As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be required to travel to sites within the Manchester, Wakefield and Halifax areas. They will offer a Van and Fuel Card.

Duties:

• Managing M&E operatives and sub-contractors on-site.
• Enforcing site Health & Safety regulations
• Overseeing sub-contractors and driving production
• Communicating with Contracts Supervisor & Manager
• Surveying site and running quality control
• Resolving site issues/queries that may arise
• Completing site diary/daily report sheets
• Identifying rectification works
• Maintaining an accurate record of who’s on-site and tasks undertaken.

Mechanical Supervisor Requirements:

• A Valid SMSTS or SSSTS Certificate.
• 2-3 years’ experience within Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication or Pipework.
• A Valid UK Driving Licence.
• Proven knowledge in leading Industrial Process Projects.
