Are you an experienced Structural Engineer who wants to join a company that puts its employees first? 

Our clients, a well-established consulting structural and civil engineering practice, who are known for its high-quality design and consultancy services are currently looking for a Structural Engineer to join their team in the Kings Lynn area. 

Working hours:

  • Monday to Friday 8:45 am – 5:30 pm
  • A flexible work pattern with some hybrid working if necessary

The successful Structural Engineer will be offered:

  • £30,000 - £50,000 per annum

Structural Engineer requirements:

  • MEng, BEng, BSc or other relevant structural engineering degree.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Structural Engineer
  • Chartered status would be preferable
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience in Civil Engineering with roads and drainage would be advantageous

As a Structural Engineer, your role will include but will not be limited to:

  • Working from Architects' drawings
  • Preparing reports
  • Selecting appropriate construction materials
  • Obtaining planning and building regulations approval
  • Calculate the pressures and stresses of steel beams, considering the strength of various materials
  • Liaising with clients on each project
  • Examine structures at risk of collapse and advise how to improve their structural integrity​​
