Role: Civil Engineer

Location: Northamptonshire

Rise10 are working with a market leading Civil & Structural Engineering consultancy firm based in Northamptonshire, who are looking to appoint a Civil Engineer. Our client has strong company values and business ethics which play a significant role in their client retention and winning new business.

Our client covers a variety of projects within commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare and education sectors.

Duties:

• Undertake civil design on a variety of civil and structural engineering projects
• Design of below ground foul and surface water drainage systems
• Producing drawings in AutoCAD
• Liaising with local authority planning departments and lead local flood authorities
• Represent the company in clients’ meetings
• Write up detailed drainage strategies and verification reports
• Working collaboratively in a team
• Work to tight deadlines and manage your own workload

Skills and experience:

• Have a suitable civil engineering qualification
• Knowledge of 3D civil design software
• Be familiar with MicroDrainage and/or the InfoDrainage software packages
• Must have in-depth knowledge of SUDS and flood risks
