Working in partnership with NG Bailey, specialists in the design, offsite manufacture and installation of mechanical and electrical solutions based in Bradford; recruiting for 15 x MIG Welder Fabricators in the structural fabrication team due to increased project commitments over the next 10 years. Working hours are Monday to Thursday full time, enabling you to enjoy a 3 day weekend break! Overtime available Friday & Saturday at T+1/2 if you want it!

MIG WELDER FABRICATOR BENEFITS:

• All Welders considered are required to carry out a Fillet and Butt weld test on site before an offer is made.

• Working hours - Monday to Wednesday 7am – 5pm and Thursday 7am – 4.30pm*
• Immediate start following weld test on site and ‘temp to perm’ after successful completion of 18weeks!

MIG WELDER FABRICATOR ROLE:

MIG Welding Carbon (mild) steels ranging 7mm-20mm average thickness and you must feel competent to weld to a weld qualification standard as your brackets, beams, supports or other parts will be put through testing (butt and fillet).

MIG WELDER FABRICATOR SALARY:

Starting pay rate is £31,434 (£16.12per hour), rising to £34,067 (£17.47per hour) upon successful completion of Butt & Fillet weld qualifications (codings) and crane license, paid for by the company usually within 2-4 weeks of start date.

MIG WELDER FABRICATOR ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Understanding & competent of multiple welding practices inc. MMA, MIG / MAG
• Two weld qualifications (codings) paid for by company and untaken within first 2-4 weeks of starting, increasing your rate to £17.16 per hour (then £17.47 with crane license) per hour for 4 days work!
• Use of plasma & Oxy Acy cutting equipment
• Competent in steel work fabrications in line with drawings, specs, dimensions and tolerances
• Safe setup & use of welding plant and equipment
• Understanding of welding defects and possible causes
