An innovative electronics manufacturing company bringing electronic products to life across global sites, are now seeking a Manufacturing Engineer local to South Wales.
Joining their Manufacturing Engineering team, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment and push the boundaries of what's possible within electronics manufacturing.

What You'll Do:

Align NPI strategy with internal teams and suppliers, driving innovation and efficiency.
Assist in the design and test of various electro-mechanical fixtures and test equipment.
Take the lead in developing production documentation and inject your expertise into design reviews to ensure products are not just built—they’re built brilliantly.
Champion Lean Manufacturing and ensure contract manufacturers are always a step ahead.
Manage the NPI industrialisation process, from process mapping to troubleshooting, ensuring smooth transitions from concept to production.
Design and support production setups, implement engineering changes and analyse data to keep them at the forefront of the industry.

What You Bring:

  • Desirably a degree or apprenticeship in electronics manufacturing, coupled with 5+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Ideally proficiency in C#, LabVIEW, and a solid understanding of electronic schematics and circuits.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of quality processes like 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Please not this role requires 3 days a week visits to the Cardiff base, and there is a small percentage of international travel involved.
