MJM Industrial are currently recruiting for an experienced Laundry Maintenance Engineer to work directly for a leading name in the hospitality linen industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your role will include but is not limited to:
- Maintaining, repairing, and servicing plant, building, and equipment.
- Utilising your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems to diagnose and fix equipment breakdowns.
- Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimise equipment and processes.
- Participating in preventative maintenance programs to minimise downtime and keep laundry running efficiently.
- Working collaboratively with the engineering team and other departments to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
YOUR BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
It is essential you meet the following criteria to be successful when applying for this Laundry Maintenance Engineer role;
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment
- Knowledge of automation, hydraulics, pneumatics, pressure systems (steam) is a plus.
- A flexible and adaptable work style, as the role requires working shifts (including evenings and weekends) as needed.
- Prior laundry experience is a plus, but not essential
