£40,000 - £44,000/annum including shift allowance

Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer with a global presence. They are looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias to maintain and repair their manufacturing machinery. This is a permanent role.

They are looking for someone who is Multi Skilled / Dual Skilled in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, but with an Electrical bias.

Location:  Swadlincote

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, Days and Nights on rotation, 12 hour shifts (6am – 6pm / 6pm – 6am).

Salary: £44,000 including shift allowance.

Your duties as a Maintenance Engineer will include:

•    Completing of both Electrical and Mechanical (M&E) breakdown repairs
•    Scheduled PPM of plant and equipment
•    Fault diagnoses and repair
•    DC & AC drives, motors and gearboxes
•    PLC fault finding
•    Pneumatic/Hydraulic repairs
•    Safe isolation and safe working
•    Electrical / mechanical installation

Candidate Requirements:

•    Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer
•    Apprentice trained, or timed served Maintenance Engineer, or a HNC / HND / NVQ Level 3 / similar qualification in Engineering 
•    Experience in a Factory / Manufacturing environment
•    Autonomous and team working
•    Understanding and able to read technical engineering drawings
•    Excellent communication skills

Previous job titles could include; Electrical Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Technician / Shift Engineer / M&E Maintenance Engineering roles / etc.
