A well-established company based in Worcester is seeking a talented CAD Designer to join their team. This role, reporting to the Technical Manager, focuses on designing investment casting tooling and fixtures using CAD software.

Key Responsibilities:

Create designs using Unigraphics CAD software for investment casting tooling and fixtures.
Develop detailed models for manufacturing purposes.
Produce technical drawings and documentation.
Collaborate closely with CNC programmers and toolmakers to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.
Attend design kick-off and development meetings.
Communicate with customers regarding technical and design matters.
Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and parts lists for ordering materials.
Work with management to achieve company policies and business objectives.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Adhere to health, safety, and environmental guidelines and report any concerns.

Skills and Qualifications:

Professional qualification such as HNC/HND or a Degree in a relevant field.
Familiarity with CNC manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of injection tooling is advantageous.
Ability to work independently and with meticulous attention to detail.
Positive, flexible, and courteous demeanor.
Strong presentation skills and confidence in interactions.
Upholds discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
