The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Welder to join our client's team in Derbyshire. In this role, you will have the chance to showcase your welding expertise on premier engineering rolling stock projects. both workshop based in Derby and off site across UK (travel and accommodation paid)

Key Responsibilities

• MIG/MAG/TIG/MMA - test bars on interview/Weld test
• Interpretation of technical design drawings and specifications
• Carry out general welding duties using a variety of welding methods
• Ensure that safety standards are adhered to at all times
• Undertake regular maintenance of welding equipment
• Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed to the highest standard.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a welder with a good understanding of welding machinery and electrical equipment
• Sound knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (provided)
• Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings
• Good communication and team working skills
• Attention to detail and good manual dexterity.
