XYZ Turner - St Neots

We currently have a role available for a XYZ Turner to become part of our small and highly skilled manufacturing team. You will be required to set and operate an XYZ Lathe based within our CNC Turning department.

Activities

• Machining components from a range of raw materials to the exacting standards of the engineering drawing, whilst following the company’s Quality Management and Health and Safety procedures, ensuring quality, timely manufacture of precision components.
• You will need to be experienced within a precision engineering environment, programming, setting and operating an XYZ lathe or a strong background in manual turning with a willingness to learn.
• The ability to read engineering drawings and use all relevant measurement equipment is a must.

What we require:

• Completed a Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship

• You will have experience within a precision engineering environment

• You must be able to read and understand an engineering drawing and use all relevant measurement equipment

• A keen eye for detail
