Sheet Metal Worker
Autospin Oil Seals Limited is a succesful Oil Seal manufacturing company in Selly Oak, Birmingham which exports worldwide. We use traditional methods to create our bespoke Oil Seals which sets us apart from many others. We are looking for a trainee sheet metal worker to join our team.
- 39 hours per week.
- Mon-Thurs: 8am-4:30pm
- Fri: 8am-3:30pm

This job entails working daily with sheet metal, cutting, shaping and measuring to specific sizes.
Daily Duties:
- Lifting Metal
- Measuring with a Micrometer, Vernier and Rule
- Keeping work area clean and tidy
- Manual Metal Spinning
- General Factory Duties
Experience:
- Full training for the role will be given on site, machine operation and following our processes/safety measures. Experience is preferred however is not neccesary.
- Experience accurately reading measuring instruments such as Micrometer, Vernier and rule is preferred.
- Basic Mathematical Skills are required
- Salary will depend on experience.
