Nexus Resource Solutions are currently recruiting a trade qualified electrician for a thriving renewable energy solutions company based in Galashiels.

Due to continued success and a strong order book they require a trade qualified electrician to come onboard to help with installations around the Borders and Central Belt.

This is a great opportunity for domestic electricians to transition into the renewables industry and work on all the latest energy saving products that will become the future of the energy industry.

The Role:

You’ll be working within a small team carrying out installation and conversion works on domestic properties. The equipment you’ll be installing is below.

• Battery storage systems
• Invertors
• Air Source Heat Pumps
• Solar

Candidates will be working around the Scottish Borders and the Central Belt so need to be flexible and used to traveling. Experience with renewables would be advantageous but not essential. Candidates with a good solid domestic background and willingness to learn will also be considered.

Qualification/Experience:

• 18th Edition Cert
• 4-year apprenticeship
• Domestic background
• Renewables experience desirable but not essential
• Driving licence essential

Package/Hours:

• Up to £40k DOE
• Company van (Home use allowed)
• Mobile
• 28 days holiday
• 40hr week-Mon-Fri
• x1.3 OT during the week
• x1.5 OT at the weekends
