JRS Associates Ltd has partnered up with an exciting manufacturer in the local area and we're looking to add an experienced CNC Miller - Setter, Operator, Programmer to the team.
The position comes due to a consistent intake of healthy, long-standing contracts meaning a need for an experienced precision engineer... see below for a detailed description of the role package and specifications of the CNC machinist required.
The Successful CNC Miller - Setter, Operator, Programmer - Package:
- £34,500 to £54,000 per annum
- Various Shifts available (Days OR Days & Nights OR Nights)
- Shift Allowance added onto basic rate - 1.33x (£40k max basic)
- Overtime available paid at 1.5x
- Holiday entitlement - 33 days (including statutory)
- Company Sick Pay Scheme active after 1 year of service

The Successful CNC Miller - Setter, Operator, Programmer - Requirements:
- Experience working with Fanuc, Siemens and/or Mazatrol controls
- Experience working on 3 or 5-axis milling machines
- Experience manufacturing components for the Nuclear, Power Generation, and Aerospace industries
- Experience of working to tight precision tolerances
- Experience working with a wide range of soft, hard, and exotic metals
- Apprenticeship trained, time served, NVQ level 3, or higher
