SHEQ Manager

Location:
Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Salary/Rate:
£40,000 - £46,000/annum

Health and safety in the workplace has never been more important and, particularly if it involves working with machinery or at height, I think everyone would sleep better if H&S was policed properly and carried out to the highest standard.

This is where you come in.

We are looking for an experienced Manager to take on all SHEQ responsibilities in an engineering services environment. Based in lovely offices on the outskirts of Sheffield close to the M1, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by identifying and correcting any risks to everyone at HQ and the engineers out in the field. You will maintain and improve standards including ISO 9001, 14001, & 45001, and oversee all quality audits.

Our non-negotiables;

  • You will need at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • NEBOSH Certification
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Good communication and time-management skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Interviews will take place ASAP so please apply straightaway if you would like to be considered. Salary is fairly negotiable but likely to be in the £mid-40k range. The complete package is excellent and you’ll receive 33 days holiday, good pension contributions, health insurance, DIS benefit, flexitime and there’s even an onsite gym if you want to get sweaty during your lunchbreak! Equally as important, you’ll be working with really good people in a very team-orientated culture.
