  • Are you a seasoned Crane Technician with onshore or offshore experience?
  • Do you reside within an hour's drive of Belfast?

  • Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 plus offshore day rate and additional overtime pay

Are You:

  • Apprentice trained in engineering, electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical fields?
  • Proficient in reading schematics and solving mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems?
  • Knowledgeable in preventative maintenance on offshore/marine/port cranes?
  • Experienced with load monitoring equipment (MIPEG, PAT)?
  • BOSIET trained (an advantage)?
  • Able to work at heights and write detailed reports?

Do You:

  • Have experience with Liebherr, Gottwald, Kenz, or NOV machinery?
  • Hold a full UK/Ireland driving license?
  • Possess the ability to interpret schematics and engineering drawings?
  • Exhibit leadership/supervisory experience in collaborating with customers and teams?

The Role: As a Crane Technician, you will:

  • Conduct commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of client cranes onshore and offshore.
  • Perform repairs and inspections on electrical equipment and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Assist with spares identification and procurement.
  • Produce clear, factual documented reports for all jobs.
  • Conduct rigging and lift planning.
  • Handle commissioning and fault finding on electro-mechanical and/or hydro-mechanical systems.
  • Work independently or as part of a team at various heights.
