HV Tendering Engineer (hybrid)

Position - HV Tendering Engineer

Location - Yorkshire

Reports to - Head of Major Projects

Job Summary:

➢ Responsible for tendering projects for the the Major Projects division.Typical projects to be tendered are DNO contestable works: 33kV to 132kV
➢ Renewable energy balance of plant works: DC/LV up to 132kV.

Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  • ICP Experience At 33kV And Above OR Renewables (BESS,/Solar/Wind) Experience 
  • Degree, HNC, HND In Electrical Related Subject

Desirable

  • Able To Produce Microsoft Project Programmes
  • Able To Use CAD To Produce Site Layout
  • Experience of operating in a commercial, multi-divisional organisation.
  • Detailed understanding of current HV electrical project and ICP sectors
  • Solid and up to date knowledge of statutory requirements, legislation and technical advances.
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety practice and Risk Assessment processes.
