Electrical Control Systems Engineer (Field based)

Electrical Control Systems Commissioning Engineer required for a permanent position with Suffolk based engineering company. This varied role involves travel around East Anglia and occasionally nationwide (company vehicle provided) assisting with final stages of installation, commissioning and modification of electrical control systems at food and beverage manufacturing sites. Occasional electrical maintenance also required. Basic 40-hour week with regular overtime . Duties will include:
- Conduct commissioning activities for electrical and control systems, including testing, troubleshooting, and documentation
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful system integration and functionality
- Develop and execute commissioning plans and procedures
- Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve technical issues
- Provide technical support during the installation and startup phases of projects
Applicants must have a recognised BTEC / C&G / NVQ 3 / ONC / HNC electrical qualification or equivalent, an in depth understanding of electrical drawings and systems and previous electrical commissioning, installation or maintenance experience of control systems within manufacturing/production.
Expected salary with overtime £55-60K per annum.
