JRS Associates Ltd have partnered up with The Beard Engineering Co in the local area of Jacksdale, Nottingham (3 miles from junction 27) and we're looking to add an experienced Manual Machinist to the team on a regular day shift. 

The position comes due to a consistent intake of healthy, long-standing contracts meaning a need for experienced precision engineers... see below for a detailed description of the roles package and specification of the machinist required. 

The Successful Manual Machinist - Package:

• £28,000 to £32,000 per annum (OTE - £47,000 per annum)
• Permanent days shift (7am - 3:30pm, Mon - Thurs & 7am - 2:30pm, Fri)
• Overtime available (paid at 1.5x, 11 hours available per week)
• 33 days holiday (inc bank holidays & 1 fixed week)

The Successful Manual Machinist - Requirements:

• Must have the ability to work with a wide array of manual machining equipment 
• Must be able to carry out the following operations, including: Milling, Drilling, Boring, and Tapping 
• Must have the ability to read and interpret engineering technical drawings 
• Must have the ability to set up large fabrications on a manual milling machine
• Must have the ability to inspect own components using various hand held measuring equipment including: DTI Gauges, Verniers, Micrometers, Slips, Depth Gauges
• Must have experience manufacturing machined components up to 10 metres in length and up to 15 tonnes in weight 
• Overhead Crane Experience is an advantage
