V7 are working with a leading engineering client who operate in the Water Industry. They are undergoing significant growth and expanding all areas of the business.

They are looking to take on a Design Engineer on a permanent basis.

On offer is a salary of circa £40,000 plus benefits.

You will play an imperative role in the forward growth of the business and you will have significant opportunities to progress

Key duties:

• Creating site layouts & equipment general assembly’s (3D Inventor).
• Reviewing and adhering to project specifications & applicable standards.
• Project planning to adhere to submission requirements.
• Attend project meetings both internally & with clients.
• Perform project engineer/management tasks.
• Input to & maintain design risk register.
• Assess civil work requirements to suit equipment.
• Perform detailed engineering calculations (including utilizing Mathcad).
• Detailed design for outsourced manufacturing, installation, maintenance & decommissioning of equipment.
• Creating detailed Parts lists/BOM with applicable software
