Quality checks & Stock Control Administrator

IMTEX Controls Limited is a privately owned, family-run business that is a specialist manufacturer / supplier of high integrity valve actuation, communication and control products. These products are supplied Worldwide to the process, energy and marine sectors to help our clients improve their plant efficiency and safety whilst accelerating their migration to carbon neutral operations.
We are looking to recruit a stock control administrator to fullfill goods in checks, stock control and stock picking activiites. Previous experience in any or all of these areas would be benficial.
Core Responsibilities
- Dimensional checks using measuring equipment on manufactured metal components to engineering drawings.
- Booking in received orders
- Putting away to stock locations parts received
- Updating stock control system
- Raising issues with parts received if not correct to drawings
- Picking parts from a parts list.
- To assist in the production operations as directed
Performance Measurement Criteria
- Booking in parts received within 24 hour period.
- Fitting in with the team to enable open and good communication
- Employee Review Results
Working Hours: Imtex Controls currently work 40 weekly hours during the Standard Working Week (Monday to Friday) to be taken between the hours of 8am and 5pm (4pm on Friday). The Company will be trialing a 9-day fortnight from 1st July, working a 38 hour weekly average with every second Friday being off. This will be made permanent if the trial is successful.
Contracted Term: 3 Month Provisional Contract to be made permanent following satisfactory review
Notice Period: None during first Contract Term then 4 week under a permanent contract
Holiday: 20 Working plus National Holidays
Salary: £23,500 to £24,500 (Approx) plus pension
