Position: Fire & Security Engineer
Location: Covering Exeter & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £34,346.00 per annum
Hours: 40 Hours per week
We are advertising this Fire & Security Engineer on behalf of our client ‘City Facilities Management’. City were established in 1985 and the company has grown to become one of the world’s largest privately held, integrated FM companies.
The position will involve, but will not be limited to, the following:
- Multiple system type installation to commissioning of intruder alarm systems, CCTV systems, Access Control systems, EAS and other bespoke security systems in accordance with the current standards and Codes of Practice
- Work within project time constraints, identifying and communicating without delay any potential risks to the project delivery dates, communicate with Project Managers to ensure projects and small works are completed on a snag free base and to the specification.
- Ability to commission and handover systems in line with the specification and drawings, including giving client demonstrations.
- Relevant security qualifications and a full understanding of BS5839
- Ensure timesheets and all other relevant paperwork is completed on time
