Advanced Recruit are recruiting on behalf of their client in the Wolverhamtpon area for a skilled and experienced Flat bed Laser Setter / Operator.
Job Role
- Quality focused and able to work on own initiative
- Using Flatbed Amada & Bystronic laser machines
- Using measuring equipment such as verniers and micrometres
- Liaising with the office on new drawings/programmes
- Working with mild steel
Experience/Requirements
- Team player Reliable, hardworking and able to work under pressure
- 3+ years setting and operating flatbed Amada laser machine would be advantageous.
- The ability to read from engineering drawings would be advantageous.
The Package
- Starting pay rate will be £14.50 - 16 per hour before transferring onto nights.
- Working days- 7 -15:3
- 12 week temporary to permanent contract
- Pay rate is reviewed once the 12 weeks are completed
- Overtime would be available when appropriate
