We are currently looking for two Stores Assistants to work with one of our clients in Burton on Trent

The client is a well-established and world leader in the manufacturer of specialist electrical equipment for a variety of applications worldwide

Working alongside the client’s own staff the role will include working in the Stores and carrying out a range of stores related duties. 

The main task will include:-

• Receiving deliveries
• Goods inwards
• Allocating stock to the correct locations
• Monitoring stock levels
• Keeping production supplied with the correct items
• Goods outwards
• Packing
• Loading and unloading vehicles

The work will be on a day shift basis, Monday to Friday with overtime available.

The succesfull applicants will also be expected to help out with basic manufacturing tasks as and when required so some previous experience of basic mechanical assembly would be useful

Applicants must have a proven track record of working in a similar stores type role, preferably in a manufacturing stores environment.  A Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence is desirable but not essential and candidates must be computer literate and have used a computerised stock control system
