We're looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious PROJECT MANAGER to complement our fantastic team in SHEFFIELD.
Location: Sheffield (S9)
Job types: Full-Time (office based)
Salary: Excellent rates of pay dependent upon qualifications and experience.

The role:
This is a busy role and would be best suited to someone with a proven track record working within a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for all aspects of a Project Manager, including but not limited to;
Plan, manage and coordinate all construction and planned maintenance projects.
Work in partnership with the Development Team (both internal and external professionals) on any major developments/ projects and managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.
Ensuring that all projects are delivered to time and cost targets and to expected quality standards. Monitoring and applying performance management techniques, including the use of KPI's to improve project performance.
Completing regulatory requirements in relation to Construction Design and Management (CDM) Risk Assessments and Health & Safety on site and in the offices/ workshop.
Ensuring any job extras are identified, costed and clearly communicated to the Management Team
Ensuring subcontractor quotes are received and actioned in good time and managing Subcontractor/ Supplier relationships and expectations.
Site visits with tradespeople and our design team; monitoring job progress whilst on-site and reporting site findings back to the Management Team.
Planning and scheduling of jobs and workload and reporting thereon
Analysis of project cycle times and resources to drive improvements and track successes
Monitoring and advising upon project finances
Ensuring the production of formal project progress reports and any other reportsYou will work in conjunction with the Managing Director, sharing your vision for each of the developments/ projects.
What you can bring:
A proven track record of delivering high quality project management services across the full project lifecycle; from initial conception and design, through construction to completion.
Ideally professionally qualified (MCIOB / APM or similar) but will consider part-qualified
Experience of working with a wide range of partners both internal and external; having strong commercial acumen, with extensive and relevant experience of 3rd-party negotiations, commercial terms, contracting and subsequent vendor management; strong negotiator that achieves optimal results.
Excellent communication, listening, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Be able to manage client relationships, engage constructively with multiple stakeholders and lead delivery teams.
You'll be confident, having dealt with complex client interactions, and motivated, with a desire to be challenged and to contribute to the success of the business.
Have a responsible attitude towards safety and security.
You'll have experience of applying a range of project management principles and skills to deliver successful project outcomes and direct accountability for quality, time, cost and technical performance of projects.
Be able to manage time efficiently
Understand budgeting requirements, work alongside other departments and follow processes
Be comfortable working across a range of projects at any one time
