Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30

Design Engineer required for a specialist and growing engineering company who can offer fantastic training opportunities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with a global reputation who provide services to the aircraft industry. The successful candidate will be given full product training within this role and will be given the opportunity to develop control skills and technical knowledge on PLCs.

The role will suit candidates from a design background, or graduates with a degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering (or equivalent). You will need some experience using AutoCAD and any additional knowledge on PLCs would be advantageous, however PLC programming training can be provided.

The successful candidate will be involved in the 3D mechanical design of vehicles using Inventor however the role will also involve electrical design, which training for can be provided. Once trained, the successful candidate will be responsible for using AutoCAD to produce technical drawings and schematics, for both new designs and new processes. You will be involved in testing the equipment and rectifying any issues that may arise.
