Are you an experienced Engineering Manager seeking a new challenge?

Do you want to work for a global business who are launching new products and continuing to grow and invest?

A global manufacturer is currently seeking an Engineering Manager to drive the engineering division and performance through their plant in Doncaster.

Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, you will effectively manage the sites engineering and maintenance activities, leading a team of 20 with a focus on meeting production requirements, maintaining a safe working environment and playing a role in continuous improvement activities.

You will manage site engineering and maintenance budgets to achieve business goals and objectives.

You will lead, manage, build and maintain a high performing team, ensuring maximum performance.

You will identify performance improvements and support site capital programmes.

You will implement and maintain an asset management program and control engineering spend.

You will manage and assess downtime trends, CMMS systems and compliance.

What you will need

  • A Degree, HNC, HND or equivalent in an Engineering discipline
  • Strong leadership traits
  • Experience of working within manufacturing – paper, plastics, building materials, automotive, aerospace
  • Previous experience within an engineering/maintenance management role
  • Good understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualified
  • Knowledge and experience of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques
  • Problem solving and analytical thinker
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
