Engenda Group provide an integrated end to end solution for the delivery of essential outsourced engineering services within the Chemical, Downstream Oil & Gas, Power, Pharmaceutical and Manufacturing Industries.

The manufacturing division specialises in the fabrication of pipework, secondary structural steel, vessels and supports. With fabrication facilities based in Yorkshire and Cheshire, Engenda Group utilises a highly skilled workforce supported by modern fabrication, cutting, forming and welding techniques.

The metals division in Runcorn, with 40 years of history, boast 4 cranes, a machine shop, semi-automatic submerged arc, TIG and MIG machines and over 60,000 sq ft of workshop space split into 3 fully segregated fabrication bays.

To support our experienced team of welders and fitters, we are looking for a Qualified Welding Engineer to join our workshop team as soon as possible.  You will work across the Fabrication Shop as well as potentially spending some time on our North West based sites when required.

Your role at Engenda Group will include but not limited to the following:

  • Review and update all Welder Quals – ASME & BSEN
  • Carry out Internal Prolongations
  • Compile all evidence & arrange for 3rd party prolongations
  • Issue WPS’s for each Individual Job
  • Run Procedure Quals – New & Update – ASME & BSEN
  • Run Welder Quals – New & Update – ASME & BSEN
  • Internal Inspection of Welds, set ups etc
  • Input of evidence on Audits for Company Accreditations (EN1090)

We are looking for someone suitably qualified as a Welding Engineer with demosntrable experience of working in this position. You need to hold the European Welding (EWE) or International Welding (IWE) Qualification.

The role will be working Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:00am-4:30pm. You will also receive 33 days holiday, career development and sponsored qualification opportunities
