Salary: £35,000 to £45,000
Nicholas Associates Group (Engineering & Technical Division) is recruiting on behalf of a long standing national client for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a world-leading manufacturing organisation based in one of their factories in South Wales (Glamorgan)
KEY DUTIES:

Interpret engineering drawings to identify current and new processes required for efficient manufacture of products to customer specifications

Creation of CNC programs for new and existing products using CADCAM software packages and ISO code writing

Design of jigs, fixtures and tooling for efficient manufacture of components

Using customer and internal CAD data to create Bill of Material, production routing, finishing and packaging requirements. Accurately enter this data onto the ERP system

Interpret engineering drawings to identify current and new processes required for efficient manufacture of products to customer specifications
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related subject

Excellent CNC programming and CADCAM skills (MasterCam, Fanuc and Siemens)

Excellent 3D CAD skills (Solidworks or Inventor preferred)

3 years’ experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role

Experience of CNC Machining extruded aluminium products
