Salary: £35,000 to £45,000

Nicholas Associates Group (Engineering & Technical Division) is recruiting on behalf of a long standing national client for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a world-leading manufacturing organisation based in one of their factories in South Wales (Glamorgan)

KEY DUTIES:

• Interpret engineering drawings to identify current and new processes required for efficient manufacture of products to customer specifications

• Creation of CNC programs for new and existing products using CADCAM software packages and ISO code writing

• Design of jigs, fixtures and tooling for efficient manufacture of components

• Using customer and internal CAD data to create Bill of Material, production routing, finishing and packaging requirements. Accurately enter this data onto the ERP system

• Interpret engineering drawings to identify current and new processes required for efficient manufacture of products to customer specifications

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related subject

• Excellent CNC programming and CADCAM skills (MasterCam, Fanuc and Siemens)

• Excellent 3D CAD skills (Solidworks or Inventor preferred)

• 3 years’ experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role

• Experience of CNC Machining extruded aluminium products
