Monday to Friday Days – 08:00 to 17:00 (Flexible)
Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias required for a market leading and niche manufacturer in Gloucestershire. You’ll be part of a small team in a varied role including improvements and exciting project work.
The Maintenance Engineer role will be suited to electrically biased or multi skilled maintenance engineers with a strong background of single and three phase electrical fault finding. The candidate will also have previous working knowledge of PLCs. To apply you can have previous experience in any manufacturing background.
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out both reactive and preventative maintenance. You will focus primarily on electrical breakdowns, approx. 80-90% of the time, however from time to time you may be involved in supporting the mechanical team. Electrically the role consists of work on single and three phase fault finding as well as work on PLCs. The maintenance engineer role will only involve reactive maintenance approx. 10% of the time, with the rest of your time being spent on pre-planned maintenance, project, and continuous improvement work, with a heavy focus on safety.
