Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Our world leading manufacturing client is seeking Mechanical Technicians to join their organization on a permanent staff basis.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will support the site maintenance effort carrying out typical maintenance activities.
- Repair and inspection of pumps, vessels, rotating equipment, pipe breaking and pipe fitting.
- Ideally experience in reactive or preventive maintenance.
- You will utilize machine shop skills such as lathes, drills and milling equipment in your daily activities.
Experience & Qualifications:
- You will have achieved a time served qualification (i.e. an apprenticeship) in a relevant discipline and you will be safety conscious.
- The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach with regard to changing priorities in a busy work environment and be capable of working alone, under their own initiative, or effectively as part of a team.
- Industry experience in either chemicals, refineries, steel industry, heavy manufacturing or COMAH sites would be preferred.
