Senior Design Engineer

We have great opportunities for Senior Design Engineers to join us at Stannah to lead, research and develop new product concepts.

The successful candidates will deliver new concepts, demonstrating customer benefits, key technologies and strategic fit, ensuring transfer to the development and delivery team.

The senior design engineers at Stannah will identify a problem, generate, and demonstrate design solutions. They are responsible for improving products that move people and goods in around the home and public buildings, and also designing related assisted living products.

We are looking for senior design engineers who have previously created and implemented great technology for high quality reliable products. It is essential that you have a strong understanding of safety and reliability and the ability to resolve technical challenges thoroughly, validating through appropriate test methods. Successful candidates will have the ability to lead product research, development and teams. 

Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge and understanding of electromechanical systems and be able to lead design research reviews. 

The roles can be worked on a hybrid basis between the office and home. 

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Degree qualified in an Engineering or science discipline, preferably Mechanical Product Design
• Good working knowledge of 3D CAD
