I have a fantastic permanent position available for a Diesel Generator Engineer within the Aberdeen region. My client are specialists within the power generation industry and are growing at a rapid pace and therefore are now currently looking to make a new addition to their service team. The ideal candidate would have previous field based experience this would include install, service and repairs of diesel generators.

Duties & Responsibilities of a Generator Engineer:

• Carry out preventative maintenance in the field on a variety of diesel generators
• Experience in load testing and load banking of all generators
• Diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical faults including control systems
• Qualified in wiring control panels and ATS panels, such as, Deep Sea Electronics
• Generate detailed reports for repairs completed and further works required using Protean software
• Be prepared to discuss with customers any servicing or fault queries
• Work with full adherence to the company and customer Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies
• Professional communication internally and externally

Skills and Qualifications for a Generator Engineer:

• Applicant must have several year’s experience in all types of generator repairs, maintenance, and electrical control panels.
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong analytical and fault-finding skills
• A team player with a can-do attitude

Package Available for Successful Candidate:

• Basic salary between £32,000 - £40,000
