Our client is an established, international food related (FMCG) manufacturer based in the Thetford area.

The company has 8 manufacturing operations in the UK and Europe and is one of the leading manufacturers in it's field with an annual turnover or £40 million, employing a loyal, dedicated and motivated team of around 80 staff.

An Engineering Stores Co-ordinator is required to join the loyal and dedicated Engineering team of 9.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will provide engineering support and accurate consumables/parts stock control/planning having key relationships with engineering team, QA & Hygiene, procurement and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Placing orders
  • Maintaining stores and stock records
  • Maintain all records of Spares Quotations, bench marking
  • Placing engineering orders onto the Pragma system
  • Maintain engineering stock levels
  • Maintain hygiene chemical and consumables stock
  • Enter manual work sheets on the CMMS System and issue as required.
  • Liaising with 3rd party contractors as required
  • Maintain COSHH register & assessments
  • Support the site roll out of SUSA Program
  • Help drive the hazard reporting program, and drive / maintain close out of identified hazards
  • Take an active part in the health & safety committee

We are looking for candidates who are technically minded who have a successful 'track record' within a stores position.

Monday to Friday 0800 - 1630

Salary to suit experience £30'000 to £34'000, Contributory Pension scheme, 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
