About the Role
We are looking for a Greenhouse Gas Emissions Lead Specialist to manage the delivery of verification schemes in the UK&I and help grow our verification portfolio, delivering to an increasingly wider client base.
- Building positive relationships with clients, regulators, accreditation bodies and industry working groups, proactively sharing feedback and opportunities across the business to sustain client satisfaction and ensure long term business growth.
- Ensuring that clients and all internal stakeholders globally are kept informed of changes, provide feedback and advise of any issues relating to the delivery of the schemes, escalating as appropriate.
- Delivering internal and external training events or meetings.
- Undertaking verification of Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG) for UK companies participating in the UK Emissions Trading Scheme, as well as delivering other diverse GHG projects.
You will need a thorough knowledge and understanding of verification activities relating to the GHG protocol and experience in delivering or managing the EU Emissions Trading Scheme verification activities.
Experience in third party multi standard assessments and /or sector schemes, including system level auditing and process level auditing, or be willing to cross train to deliver standards if required.
Understanding/appreciation of relevant legal/regulatory framework, or experience and knowledge of the sector.
Understanding of and applying the principles of client relationship management.
