We have an opportunity to support an aerospace client in the design, development and integration of a novel electrical subsystem to augment their core product to deliver additional capability and flexibility. This is an exciting project which will mark the first of kind application in the aerospace industry.
Capgemini will create a multidisciplinary team to work directly alongside the customer in the delivery of this package of work. We require engineers with experience of electrical systems to join our existing aerospace team to fulfil the following functions:
- Electrical Systems PDG and Digital Mockup
- Electrical Systems Engineering
- Requirements capture and management
- V&V planning
- Electrical Systems Modelling and Simulation
- Control System Development
- Electromagnetic Compatibility
- Manufacturing Engineers
The project will be delivered from our Bristol office, however a proportion of home working is to be expected and applications from candidates who are fully remote will be considered (candidates must be domiciled within the UK).
Successful candidates will be driven, have good interpersonal skills and able to work both autonomously and as part of a high performance team. Previous experience in at least one of the following areas is essential:
- Battery systems
- Electrical Power Distribution
- Power Electronics
- Electrical Systems Installation
- Power Generation
We will consider candidates with any level of prior experience as we have multiple positions in the team. A degree qualification in engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent relevant experience are essential.
