Great opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer or a confident and ambitious Scientist looking to transition in an Engineering role with an expanding field service team in the North West area.

You will be responsible for the installation/service/maintenance and validation of both gas & liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry systems at customer sites covering the North West of England, including commercial laboratories and universities.

To be suitable for this position, you will be a confident Scientist/Analyst with 2+ years analytical method development experience with both GCMS and LCMS. You will also be used to maintaining, troubleshooting, and fixing GCMS/LCMS systems. Applications are also invited from existing Field Service Engineers and skilled onsite instrument engineers.

You must be willing to travel extensively - about 75% of your time. You will also have excellent communication skills and able to provide a high level of customer service.
