R. Plevin & Sons Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our team based in Elkesley. Working on a full time, 4 on 4 off day shift basis you will receive a competitive salary of circa £32,600 per annum + the possibility of overtime.

R. Plevin & Sons is a UK market leader of wood recycling and an animal bedding manufacturer.  At the Elkesley site, there is a wood processing operation (including shredders) and an automated animal bedding baling plant.  The site is busy and there is regular preventative and reactive maintenance required on the plant and mobile plant, as well as general site maintenance to do.

The role:

Hours of Work – 4 on 4 off shift pattern 06:00 to 18:00 hours

This is a ‘hands on’ role, the job holder will be responsible carrying out fault finding and preventative maintenance on medium to heavy industrial plant and equipment.

As our Maintenance Engineer your duties will include:

Carrying out site wide electrical and mechanical maintenance, installation work, problem solving and continuous improvement to both increase and maintain production efficiencies.

Key skills and experience needed to become our Maintenance Engineer:

Able to work to tight deadlines.
Able to complete remedial repair work in line with statutory and legal requirements.
Adept at problem solving and flexible in their approach to work.
A time served apprentice trained with industrial experience (medium to heavy industrial plant and equipment) with formal qualifications (BTEC or equivalent).

18th Edition Electrical certification is also desirable.
