Validation Project Engineer
We now have an excellent opportunity for an experience Project Engineer to join the team at our new Manchester manufacturing facility. You will work to plan, direct and implement the validation lifecycle for the facility. Reporting through the senior Manufacturing Director you will interact with the senior members of the wider CMC team.
Relevant Education Skills and Experience
In order to be successful in the role of Validation Project Engineer it is envisaged that you will have 5 to 10 years experience as a senior team member on GMP validation projects. Specifically you will possess the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
- Full understanding of the validation lifecycle
- Expertise with process and equipment validation
- Authoring VMP’s and URS’s
- Review and management of external service contracts
- Good automated manufacturing practice (GAMP)
- Experience of steriles/biologics manufacture
- Experience in IQ, OQ, PQ
Whilst not essential it may be an advantage if you have experience of:
- Managing service and maintenance of manufacturing units
- Knowledge of CSV
- Previous experience with Cell/Gene therapy products
Remuneration & Benefits
The salary for the Validation Project Engineer will be competitive within the Biotechnology and wider Scientific sector with actual salary offered reflecting relevant qualifications and experience as well as performance at interview. It is anticipated the role will be offered as a Fixed Term Contract with an initial period of 6 months.
