Scaffold Design Engineer

An exciting position has become available for a full-time Scaffold Design Engineer based in North London and working in and around London. The successful candidate’s salary will be dependent on experience.

Role Requirements

  • Structural qualification and/or suitable experience.

  • Good computer skills.

  • Good AutoCAD skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Excellent organisational skills.

  • Flexible attitude.

  • Ability to learn new disciplines.

  • Strong motivational and interpersonal skills.

  • BEng. BSc (Hons) or MEngg. n Civil or Structural Engineering.

  • Good level of knowledge and understanding of Civil Engg. Design and practice, particularly Temporary Works.

  • Knowledge of UK Health & Safety Legislation particularly CDM 2015.

Role Responsibilities 

  • Be required to produce design drawings and calculations.

  • Visit sites and give on-site assistance.

  • Assist in the checking process of another Designer’s work.

  • Improve your Design Capabilities and attend any training required.

  • Perform all duties as set out in the Design Office Procedures document.

  • Keep up to-date with new products and improvements to existing systems.

  • Keep up to-date with industry standard and construction techniques.
