We are looking for a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering, delivering: Mechanical Principles, Engineering Systems, Mechanical Design and Drawing up to Level 6. We would welcome applications from experienced Engineers who have a wealth of knowledge to share with our students. It is not essential that successful candidates have experience of teaching, if you have the skills we’re looking for, we’ll commit to supporting you through a teaching qualification, and you will be working alongside an experienced team of Lecturers within our Technical Engineering department.

The successful applicant will be a Chartered Engineer or have achieved a Masters in a relevant subject.

Salary: up to £37,519 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)

Tenure: Permanent

Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week (24 hours teaching plus 11 hours departmental duties)

Annual Leave: 42 days, plus bank holidays, plus Christmas closure period
