Control Systems Engineer

Location:
Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Salary/Rate:
£46,000 - £52,000/annum

Some PLC Control Systems Engineering jobs can mean less time designing, more time documenting and form-filling. This one gets the balance back to PLC HMI SCADA control systems design, PLC programming, SCADA configuration- designing control systems software projects from start to finish- and across a range of processes too, from chemical, to food, to water, to renewables, to power and energy.

What do we need?

I'm looking for an Engineer with experience of programming Siemens TIA Portal, Siemens S7 PLC's or Rockwell Automation Allen Bradley PLC's, or a leading ladder logic, structured text, statement list PLC.
Some SCADA configuration experience would be good- any leading SCADA package- Wonderware Intouch, iFIX, Factoryview, Ignition, WinCC for example.
Any hardware background would be good too.

The perks: A competitive salary yes, but this is the real perk: Becoming a key part of an experienced team in a friendly, informal, Engineer-led Company, often working on curveball, different projects, growing your skills, commissioning, handover- the full works to the final selfie on site.
