We recruiting on behalf of a busy engineering based company based in Oldbury for an FLT/Overhead crane operative to work in a busy manufacturing environment 

Job Role

• Working in a engineering environment
• To check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and faults/damages.
• Loading and unloading of vehicles
• Assisting with the movement of sheet metal around the factory.
• Storing items in relevant sections.
• Packing & assembly goods in boxes.
• Maintaining a clean working environment in yard and shop floor.
• Ensure all stock movement is recorded correctly.
• Forklift truck counter balance driving

Experience/Requirements

• Previous working experience in engineering/sheet metal environment is essential
• Must be open to flexible start times.
• Laser operating experience would be advantageous
• FLT Counter balance licence is essential
• Goods in/out experience
• Good communication skills liaising with other departments.
• Ability to use own initiative and prioritise workload
• Attention to detail
• Comfortable with manual handling.

• 12 week temporary to permanent contract.
• £12 starting rate which will be reviewed after the probation period
