Are you a graduate engineer or HNC level Technician with a background in civil and structural engineering or building construction? Start a career in site investigation and develop into project management.

You will be working with an engineering specialist who work on a range of historical and modern building structures across the UK. Ideally you will be based in Cambridgeshire with an interest in buildings, problem solving and site investigation work, then this could be the perfect opportunity to launch your career.

Degree qualified or HNC level with a background in civil and structural engineering, the built environment, earth sciences or construction. As an Investigation Engineer, you will be working primarily on site as part of a team, typically 3 / 5 days a week on projects.

A practical background and willingness to travel and work with a site project engineering team is vital. You’ll be a problem solver, someone interested in buildings, who wants to build a career in engineering or project management.

The company has a strong track record of nurturing careers under the guidance of Senior Technicians and Engineers. With this opportunity, you will develop the following skills:

  • Structural investigation of buildings and structures.
  • Using specialist testing equipment for material testing, sampling, and integrity
  • Data collation, analysis and investigation report writing.

This is an excellent opportunity with a business that has a strong reputation for quality of service. You will be joining a specialist consultancy with UK and international offices, who offer long term development and the chance to travel.

A full UK Driving Licence is essential. Due to the security clearance required on some projects you must have been a UK resident for at least the last 3 years.
