We are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing family-owned business to on board a Traffic Management Manager. This is a permanent role based in Rainham paying up to £50,000 per annum. 

Your new company 

With over 40 years in the highways civil engineering sector this family owned and operated business prides itself on its dynamic and motivated team and the collaborative approach they foster with their clients. They provide highways civil engineering term contracts for both public and private sectors and are currently working on a project regenerating a major East London streets with the goal to improve connectivity for residents and transform it into a thriving hub for the community. 

Your new role 

Due to continued growth, they are looking to on board a Traffic Management Manager. Due to the size of the company this role presents a great opportunity for growth with the ability to tailor the role to your ambitions. You will have the opportunity to lead and develop our Traffic Management division from the ground up supported with major investment. You will bring your expertise to the following: 

  • Overseeing traffic management works 

  • Attending site meetings with clients 

  • Producing Traffic Management CAD drawings 

  • Completing site audits 

  • Managing Traffic Safety Officers / TSCO’s and ensuring traffic management has been installed correctly 

  • Ensuring Health & Safety is maintained to the highest quality 

About you 

Along with your ability to help drive forward traffic management processes and systems you will ideally fulfil the below 

  • Previous experience with Traffic management ideally in a lead/management role 

  • Experience overseeing and managing a staff of traffic management operatives 

  • CAD traffic management drawings 

  • LANTRA trained 

  • Ability to work well within a team, with other departments, as well as on own initiative and be adaptable to changing situations and solve arising problems
