Candidate - Successful salesperson within the central plant cooling industry selling into project specifications via mechanical consultants and main contractors. Technical, consultative, solution sell, full turnkey approach to specialist, large scale and high value commercial or process cooling projects.

The Position

This is a brand-new Business Development Manager position that has been created due to unprecedented growth working for a global provider of water cooled chiller systems, within a specialist team focused on central plant, specifically water cooled chillers, precision cooling and close control. You will manage existing relationships and develop new clients primarily with mechanical consultants and contractors involved with major UK commercial and process application projects. You will have an industry leading product portfolio of the latest in energy efficient water cooled chillers, precision cooling systems and other central plant solutions incorporating other renewable technologies.

Experience Required

This is a highly specialist role in a team of experienced industry professionals so you must have a successful sales record selling HVAC or central plant systems such as water cooled chillers, air cooled chillers, AHU's, fan coil units, close controls, CRAC, hydronics, precision cooling or large/multi heat pump systems. HVAC or refrigeration qualifications are not essential but desirable. It will be a great advantage if you have a record of winning high value project specifications and achieving a multi £M sales turnover.
