Our client, a leading FMCG manufacturer, seek to appoint a Maintenance Engineer to their engineering team. Working permanent days, reporting in to the Maintenance Manager, the appointed Maintenance Engineer will work closely with the production department to increase OEE, respond to breakdowns as and when they occur, and make suggestions for continuous improvement. Work in a reactive maintenance engineering team
Respond to breakdowns
Carry out PPMs and organised maintenance activity
Carry our continuous improvement activity
Understand lean manufacturing principles
Work to reduce downtime and improve machine capability
Maintenance Engineer Skills & Abilities Electrical, Mechanical, Multi-Skilled Engineer, Service Engineer
Time served or C&G qualified as a minimum
Electrical bias preferred
Multiskilled with minimum 10 years experience in a fast moving automated manufacturing environment
Strong fault finding skills. Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic (including fault finding on PLC's).
24VDC/415/240v control and electrical systems experience
